I returned to brands harbouring memories of 2016 where we were cruelly denied the win after we had dominated qualifying and the race, only to be thwarted by an errant safety car period and pit blockage. Safe to say both Seb and I were keen to make amends. However we also knew that all the other teams had stepped up their pace this year so it wasn’t going to be easy!
