Green Cards will not be needed until after the 31 October

Under EU regulations you will need to obtain a Green Card as proof of insurance in the event of a no deal Brexit. As it currently stands Green Cards will not be needed until after the 31st October 2019.

This Green Card document will be supplied by the insurer to their customers, those who travel without one may be breaking the law.

If you are insured by Geoffrey Insurance and wishing to travel abroad please contact us directly to obtain your Green Card.
Among those affected are:

People who drive across the Northern Ireland/Republic of Ireland border.
Anyone planning to take their vehicle to Europe e.g. a family planning a holiday to France in the Easter holidays.
Any freight company planning to transport goods into the EU after 31st October 2019.
